In Hebrew, Simon means 'hearing'. This was especially meaningful as it relates so closely to one of Christopher's favorite scripture verses, James 1:19:

My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.

We pray for these qualities in our dear son.
