A New Cousin!

Welcome to the world, Sydney!

We are all so excited that Aunt Jennie, Uncle Skip and Cousin Kaitlin have a new little love in their house. We've been praying for Aunt Jennie and Cousin "Baby Not Born" every night for months. It was a fun night to finally get to pray for "Baby Born". She arrived last Friday, and she and mom are perfectly healthy and settling in at home. Can't wait to meet her!

St. Patty's Fun

Grandma Steinbeiss (born Mary Catherine Cawley from County Mayo, Ireland) would be proud of our celebration this year. Here are some pics from a parade outing last weekend (of course we found a parade to attend) and as we headed out to dinner with friends. I made Irish Soda Bread, had some corned beef and cabbage and a little dark beer, and dressed head to toe in green. A solid effort to represent my Irish roots.

Check out our skinny Dad...totally fit and ready for triathlon season!

Si's grin KILLS me. So cute.

Rockin' and Singin'

Not a lot of action here...just thought the Grandparents might like to see the kids rocking and singing and loving each other.

Eight Happy Months

I am just DYING to know who this boy is going to be. He's the greatest baby. He's snuggly and loves to be held. He's flirty...ducks his chin down and then looks up at you with those enormous brown eyes. He's in love with his sister and seems to live for her attention. He has a funny belly laugh when Mils starts messing with him or when Casey licks every last drop of food off of his hands (yeah...gross...I know). Although he's perfectly content about 90 percent of the time, lately we've been calling him the 'rager'. Out of the blue, he just hollers at us when he decides he needs something. Mostly he needs food quicker than we can get it to him, so he balls up his fists, sucks in some breath, and just screams. No tears. Just some good ragin'. If I had to guess, I think he'll be a gentle soul with a quick wit and a great sense of humor. I think he'll have his Dad's patience and laid-back outlook on life (thank God!). And I have no doubt that he's going to get what he wants in this world...look out!

A Taste of California

Mmmm...In-N-Out...anyone hungry for a double-double (besides Simon)?
